A family history of discipline, technology, and practical system-building. Our roots reach back to a professional IT consultancy founded in 2017. The modern Nicholson Solutions of IL LLC was established in 2024 with a renewed focus on real-world operations.

Otis R. Nicholson
Original founder · Nicholson Solutions LLC
In 2017, Otis R. Nicholson established the first Nicholson Solutions as an enterprise IT consultancy. His professional background included financial services technology, health information technology, application development, disaster recovery and business continuity, storage systems, telecommunications, and established software-development and project-management methodologies.
His training and credentials included ITIL V3, Six Sigma Green Belt, and PMP training. Otis brought a commitment to professional discipline, structured technology, and dependable processes.
Otis passed away in 2019. We honor his work as the foundation of the Nicholson Solutions legacy.

Nicholson Solutions of IL LLC
In 2024, Lashun “Flight” Nicholson established the modern Nicholson Solutions of IL LLC, with Danell Nicholson as co-founder and Leon Jackson as an early partner. This was a new chapter for the Nicholson name: an operations-focused company developing practical business software and providing security services.
Its software work draws on firsthand experience in industrial yards, visitor management, security workflows, and fitness operations. Solutions such as Yard Board/LSOS, SecurityOps/GuardReady Ops, VisitorOps/CheknOps, and GymOps/DocGymOps reflect that problem-first approach. Some concepts remain in development; historical field implementations and current commercial products are distinct.
